Dean L. Robinson, age 67, of Alliance, Ohio died at 2:30 p.m. May 28, 2008 at the Cleveland Clinic.
He was born April 7, 1941 in Alliance, Ohio to Robert and Viola (Hunt) Robinson.
Dean was a 1959 graduate of Alliance High School and worked as a machinist at the former Alliance Electric, Steel Equipment Specialists, and Davis Engineering until his retirement in 2001 after forty two years of service.
A member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church, he was a member of the National Fishing Club and loved fishing, woodworking, and working in his garden. Dean also enjoyed working word circle puzzles and visiting Amish Country.
Dean greatly missed his late dog, Nicholas, but found companionship with his cat, Midnight.
Survivors include his daughter, Pamela Sue (Mark) Morosky of Alliance, brother, William (Connie) Robinson Sr. of Alliance and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and his wife, Margurite "Sis" (Smith) Robinson whom he married November 2, 1963 and who died April 30, 2002.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Joel Adkins officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be at Mt. Union Cemetery.
