Deborah J. Donaldson

Deborah "Debbie" (Moser) Donaldson, 75, of Alliance, went home to be with the Lord on April 7, 2025. Debbie was born on May 21, 1949, to Herman and Hazel Moser.

Debbie graduated from Alliance High School in 1967. She was a long-time member of Alliance Friends Church, as well as the Postscripts club.

Debbie was a devoted wife, mother, and nana whose life was a beautiful reflection of selfless love and faith. As a nurturing homemaker, she poured her heart into creating a warm, Christ-centered home where her children and grandchildren always felt unconditionally loved. With a servant’s heart, she consistently put the needs of her family before her own. Her quiet strength, unwavering love and unique sense of humor left a lasting imprint and will be forever remembered by all who knew her.

Debbie was preceded in death by her husband of 55 years, Larry; as well as her mother and father. 

She leaves behind her children, Laura (John) Briden, Matthew (Megan) Donaldson, and Jodie Donaldson; her grandchildren, Katie Kennedy, Megan (Trung) Nguyen, Anna Donaldson and Jacob Donaldson; Honorary Family Member Jeremy Ryan; her brother, Ed (Treva) Moser, and nieces and nephews Susan (Marty) Clark, Sharon (Bill) Pfister, and Chuck (Lorraine) Moser.

The family has held a private ceremony. 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Dysautonomia International, Inc., P.O. Box 596 East Moriches, NY 11940, a cause dear to Debbie’s heart.
