Debra Kay Ramsey, age 57, of Beloit, died at 5:00 a.m., Thursday, May 3, 2012, at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born, August 9, 1954, in Big Spring, Texas, to Carl and Geneva (Fehler) Mensing and has resided in Beloit since 1983.
Debra graduated from Del Valle High School in Austin, Texas, the University Of Texas College Of Pharmacy and Kent State University.
She was employed as a Staff Pharmacist and Director of Pharmacy at Alliance Community Hospital for 23 years and then was an Information Technologies Consultant for Computer Services Corporation.
She is survived by her parents, Carl and Geneva Mensing of Austin, TX.; husband, Robert G. Ramsey of Beloit, whom she married August 18, 1973; sons, Chuck Ramsey of Beloit, Jason R. Ramsey of Ada, and brothers, Rick Mensing of Lincoln, NE, Kevin Mensing of Dallas, TX., and Jeff Mensing of Austin, TX.
Services will be held at 4 p.m. Saturday, May 5, 2012, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call from 1 to 4 p.m. Saturday prior to the service.
