Delbert L. "Butch" Miller, age 70, of Alliance, passed away at 7:16 a.m. Wednesday, March 31, 2010, at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born January 10, 1940, in Alliance, Ohio to Delbert W. and Edna A. (Groves) Miller.
Delbert was a 1958 graduate of Alliance High School and was employed as a Tool and Die Maker for the former Alliance Drop Forge until retiring after 25 years of service.
Butch enjoyed bowling, reading, automobiles, and especially spending time with his grandchildren and family.
Survivors include his wife, Judith A. (Allen) Miller of Alliance; two sons, Gregory Miller (Rena McFarlane) of North Canton, and Eric (Kim) Miller of Lexington, North Carolina; two daughters, Sheri Miller of Akron and Cathy (Keith) Hawk of East Rochester; seven grandchildren; one great- grandson; sister, Gail J. (Dale) Augustine of Alliance; and four nieces and four nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m., Friday, April 2, 2010, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Pam Bruno officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
