Delores "Dee" Hickman

Delores "Dee" Hickman age 79, of Homeworth, died at her home on Friday, August 12, 2016.
She was born October 5, 1936, in Webbville, Kentucky, to George M. and Lola J. (Holbrook) Moore.
Mrs. Hickman worked at the College Plaza Lanes for more than 35 years.
In addition to being a bowling instructor, she coached softball, enjoyed crafts, especially crocheting and donating baby blankets. She was an avid reader, gardener and loved collecting recipes.
Dee was a member of the Middle Sandy Presbyterian Church.
Survivors include her son, Justin (Dolly) Hickman of Fredericktown, Ohio; grandchildren, Adam (Brandy) Hickman, Zachary (Spring) Hickman and Chelsey Hickman; great-grandchildren, Trinity, Rayven and Xavier; sisters, M. Christine Morgan, Virnal (Oscar) Middleton and Ann (Norm) Haidet; numerous nieces and nephews; and many relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Edgar V. Hickman; sons, Gordon C. Hickman, and Porter W. Hickman; infant daughter, Teresa Leigh Hickman; and sister, Linda M. Utterback.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2016 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Tom Sawyer officiating. Friends may call from 11:30 a.m. until 1:30 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
