Delores Jean (Stern) Colvin, age 68, of Alliance, died at 5:58 p.m. Thursday, August 18, 2011, at her home.
She was born July 5, 1943, in Moundsville, West Virginia, to Andrew and Lula (Wade) Stern.
Delores was of the Baptist faith and loved working in her yard and gardening.
She is survived by her sisters, Nellie Yoho and Helen Lucas of Alliance and Lenora Pasco of Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Lawrence Colvin, whom she married October 9, 1965, and who died November 27, 2003; son, Randy Colvin; and six brothers.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Monday, August 22, 2011, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, 75 S. Union Ave., Alliance, Ohio 44601.
