Deloris A. MacDougall, age 81 of Alliance, died at 3:30 p.m. Friday September 12, 2008 at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born Sept. 10, 1927 in Beaver Falls, Pa., to Ferry D. and J. Irene (Niver) Bond. A 1945 graduate of Beaver Falls High School, Deloris was the owner of D's Bookkeeping Service. She also was employed as the Branch Manager of Midland Buckeye Savings and Loan for nine years.
She was a member of the Alliance Senior Citizens Center, Federated Womens Club and Parents Without Partners.
Mrs. MacDougall enjoyed sewing, crocheting, income tax preparation and ballroom dancing.
Survivors include her children, Ann I. Shook (Larry) Roose, of Bedford Tx, Linda R. MacDougall (Robert) Smith of Alliance, Kimberly S. MacDougall (Sam) Rickey of Lake Orion, Mich, and Gregory F. (Joni) Shook of Jacksonville, Fla.; nephew, H. Lee Hall of Mesa, Az., seven grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Edwin R. MacDougall, whom she married Oct. 4, 1957, and who died April 5, 1975, two sisters, C. Norene Hall, and Lois M. Beckman, and one niece, Donna J. Crognale.
Services will be held at 10 a.m.Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor James McCurdy of First United Presybterian Chuch officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday. Interment will be at Greenhaven Cemetery in Canfield, Ohio.
