Deloris Mead

Deloris Jean Mead, age 81 of Alliance, died at 12:15 p.m. Sunday April 3, 2005 at her home after a long battle with cancer.
She was born June 22, 1923 in Alliance, Ohio, to Charles and Marie (Hahn) Drinkhouse and spent her life in Alliance.
Mrs. Mead graduated from Alliance High School in 1941 and worked on many class reunions. She worked for 32 ? years at American Steel Foundries and was a member of the 25 year club. Deloris was a 52 year member of Union Avenue United Methodist Church.
She is survived by a son, Charles Richard Mead, of Alliance.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, John Paul Mead, whom she married on June 20, 1952, and who died September 11, 2004.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Gordon Ruggles officiating. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
