Denis K. French, age 56, of Alliance, passed away at 11:55 a.m. Saturday, August 29, 2009 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born May 2, 1953 in Alliance, Ohio to Olin L. and Doris I. (Greiner) French. A graduate of Alliance High School, Denis formerly worked at Stewart Brothers, and was currently employed as a truck driver for Clem Lumber.
Denis enjoyed fishing, and working on automobiles. He attended First Christian Church.
Survivors include his wife, Patricia A. (Ruggly) French, whom he married May 1, 1981; five children, Carl Ziegler, Heather Ziegler, Greg French, Brian French, Courtney French, all of Alliance; eleven grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and two brothers, Alan (Judith) French and Randy (Charlotte) French both of Minerva.
He was preceded in death by his parents; one brother, Gary French; and one sister, Sheri Pisanello,
Services will be held at 7:00 p.m. Wednesday, September 2nd at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Pam Bruno officiating. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home.
