Dennis E. Mobley, age 77, of Alliance, passed away at 5:12 a.m. Tuesday, July 30, 2013, at his home.
He was born December 18, 1935, in West LaFayette, Ohio, to Wilbur and Dorothy (Maloy) Mobley.
A 1953 graduate of West Lafayette High School, Dennis was a former mail carrier for the U.S. Post Office, retiring June 1, 2001.
He attended Jehovah Witness Kingdom Hall and was a former member of the BPOE No. 467, Alliance Lions Club and Letter Carriers Union branch No. 297.
Survivors include his wife, Mary Linda (Jacobs) Mobley of Alliance, whom he married October 20, 1960; two sons, Mark (Lana) Mullet of Alliance and Timothy (Bede) Mobley of Seville; five grandchildren, Starr Kelley, twins, Jackie and Allie Mullet, and Nicole and Christa Mobley; four great-grandchildren; sister, Judith (James) Wolf of Newcomerstown; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a sister.
A private memorial service will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
