Dennis W. Williams

Dennis W. Williams, age 70, of Louisville, went home to be with the Lord November 19, 2015.
He was born in Canton, Ohio, June 16, 1945, to Paul and Mabel (Clapper) Williams.
Dennis was a graduate of East Canton High School and Mount Union College where he was a member of Sigma Nu Fraternity. While at Mount Union he studied business and accounting, and played football for the Purple Raiders.
Dennis was a long time member of the Alliance Baptist Temple where he served as treasurer, Sunday school teacher, deacon and choir director. He sang bass in a church quartet.
He was an accountant for the Hoover Company in North Canton for 36 years. He most recently was an accountant for Freedom Harley Davidson, also in North Canton for 10 years. He was an advisor for the Beech Creek 4-H Club for 24 years.
Dennis enjoyed farming, going to fairs, watching Mount Union and Ohio State football games, and reading, but most of all visiting with his family, church family and friends.
He is survived by his wife, Jane (Fabyancic) Williams; sons, Dennis L. Williams of Homeworth, Richard P. (Tish) Williams of Concord, NC; daughter, Mary (Martin) Smith of Stratford, NY; five grandchildren, Kaitlyn, Kurtis, Mark, Marissa and Heath; sister, Bonnie (Ron) Burns of Louisville; and brother, Steve (Beth) Williams of East Canton.
Dennis was preceded in death by his parents; and brother, David.
Calling hours will be held from 1 to 3 p.m., Sunday, November 22, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
Services for the celebration of Dennis's life will be held at 11 a.m., Monday, November 23, at Alliance Baptist Temple where Pastor Randy Payne will be officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park following the service.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to the Alliance Baptist Temple 1441 W. Vine St. Alliance, OH 44601.
