Denver R. Frank, age 77 of Alliance, died at 5:50 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 12, 2004 at McCrea Manor.
He was born January 8, 1927 in Chester, Ohio to Herman and Lettie ( Frederick ) Frank, and had lived in the area for 50 years.
Mr. Frank attended Chester, Ohio public schools and was a foreman in the shipping department at Babcock and Wilcox tubular division, retiring after 29 years.
He was an active Golfer, Fisherman, Hunter and Farmer. He was a member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church.
Survivors include his wife Betty J. (Moore) Frank from Pomeroy, Ohio, whom he married August 19, 1950; two daughters Sandra R. (Louis) Brothag of New Port Richey, Florida, Sheila R. (Michael G.) Lalli of Alliance; two sons Denver J. (Penny) Frank of Alliance and Richard R. (Pat) Frank of North Canton; seven grandchildren, Roger Frank of Alliance, Katherine Seiler of Cuyohoga Falls,Ohio, Michael Frank of North Caroline, Jennifer Schmidt of Alliance, Kimberly Brothag of Toledo, and Tara and Tonya Calhoun of North Canton; seven great grandchildren; one sister Grace Price of Long Bottom, Ohio; two brothers Howard Frank of Albany, Ohio and Clarence Frank of Racine, Ohio.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Kenneth Price officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery
