Diane S Jones

Diane S. Jones, age 70, of Hartville, and formerly of Atwater, passed away at her home Saturday, May 20, 2017.
She was born January 3, 1947 in Ravenna, Ohio to Harlow and Bessie (Keller) Beans.
A graduate of Atwater High School, Diane worked as a Mail Carrier for the Atwater Post Office from 1984 until her retirement.
She was a member of the former New Apostolic Church in Atwater.
Diane also served as an EMT for the Atwater Fire Department, as Zoning Inspector and enjoyed playing and coaching softball.
She loved landscaping, yardwork, painting ceramics and earlier in her life enjoyed showing horses.
She will be loved and missed by her family, including daughters, Tonya (Todd) Manion of Louisville, Robin (Chip) Ferguson of North Georgetown, and Mindy (Brad) Ritenour of East Rochester; 15 grandchildren; one great-granddaughter, two great-grandchildren on the way; and sisters, Barbara (Ted) Pokabla and Ilene (Gene) Hackney.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Allen Jones, and brothers, Charles F. Beans and Raymond Beans.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6 p.m. Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Mosaic Missional Movement (M3) Church at 2217 W. State St., Alliance, Ohio with Pastor James Gray officiating. Friends may call the hour prior to the service at the church.
