Don L. Miller, age 69 of Alliance, died at 1:07 p.m. Wednesday, June 1, 2005 at Aultman Hospital.
He was born July 21, 1935 in Masontown, Pennsylvania to Mont Christopher and Anna (Stenger) Miller.
Mr. Miller attended school in Pennsylvania and served with the U.S. Air Force in the Korean War.
He worked for Louisiana Pacific and American Weatherseal, as an Independent Sales Rep, with 40 years of service in the Aluminum Extrusion Industry.
Don was former Co-Owner of Moloney/Miller Aluminum in Sebring and Owner of Associated Aluminum Sales.
He was a member of Christ United Methodist Church, and the VFW Post 6730 in Sebring.
Survivors include his wife, Carolyn Kuhns Miller of Alliance; sons Scott (Chris) Miller of Alliance, Michael Miller of Beloit, daughter Mindy (Scott) Thomas of Bradenton, Florida, grandchildren, Michael, Josh, Dan, Scott, Corey and Kyle; great-grandchildren, Zachary and Joshua; brothers and sisters, Marion (Richard) Morris of Kent, Eleanor (Harry) Ritenour of Kent, Doris Jacobs of Kent, Robert (Goldie) Miller of Florida, Mont (Dorothy) Miller of Mogadore, and Vera Riffle of McClellandtown, Pa., brothers-in-law, Michael Freshwater, and Gary Freshwater, and sister-in-law, Pat (John) Van Weelden.
He was preceded in death by his parents, and siblings, Charles Miller, Charlotte Ahuna, Ruth Berkshire, Thelma Stacey, Harry Moore, and Isabelle Moore.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home, with Rev. Hugh Hookway officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be at Grandview Cemetery in Sebring.
