Donald Leo Anderson, age 64 of Alliance, died at 4:52 a.m. Wednesday March 9, 2005 at Alliance Community Hospital.
He was born October 14, 1940 in Bergholz, Ohio to Norvel B. and Lilly (Whitlatch) Anderson and was a lifelong resident.
Mr. Anderson graduated from Alliance High School and retired from Transue and Williams Stamping Plant, after working for 36 years.
He enjoyed all outdoor activities, including camping, horseshoes and fishing.
Survivors include his wife, Mae (Moore) Anderson, whom he married May 7, 1983; two daughters, Sherry Elaine Gang and her fianc?' Lawrence J. Courtney of Deerfield, Lorie (Elijah) Blake of Beloit; two sons, Donald L. Anderson Jr. of Malvern, and Clinton R. Anderson of Seattle, Washington; four step-children, Cathy L. Nemitz, Richard A. Nemitz, Robert Notman, and William Notman, all of Alliance; twenty grandchildren, two great-grandchildren, and siblings, Mildred (Billy) Hawkins, Ed Anderson, Gary Anderson, Joyce and LeRoy Hawkins Imogene Conrad, all of Alliance, Shirley Lee of Florida and Evelene (William) Blasiman of Limaville.
Mr. Anderson was preceded in death by his parents, two brothers, Norvel Anderson Jr., and Robert E. Anderson, one step-son Dwayne M. Nemitz, and one nephew, Cody J. Anderson
Services will be held 11:00 a.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Delania Kaiser officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
