Donald G. Green, age 76, of Homeworth, died at 8:20 a.m. Oct. 2, 2006 at Great Trail Care Center in Minerva after an extended illness. He was born July 17, 1930 in Canton, Ohio to George Green and Mary (Arthurs) Myers.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Mr. Green was the former owner and operator of Universal Design Products until retiring.
He served in Korea with the National Guard.
He is survived by two sons, James (Sally) Green of Duluth, Ga., and Larry (Linda) Green of Minerva; four grandchildren, Michelle and Matthew Green, and Andrea and Jillian Green; two sisters, Betty (Bob) Beck of Akron, and Pat (Paul) Voytko of Cassody, Ka., and one brother, John (Barb) Thomas of Lake Tahoe, Nev.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Thursday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Pam Bruno of First Christian Church officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
