Donald Harold Eye, age 52, of Alliance, passed away at 9:25 p.m., Wednesday, March 17, 2010, at his home.
He was born January 30, 1958 in Alliance, Ohio, to Harold H. and Theresa R. (Zwick) Eye.
He attended Alliance City Schools. He was a former employee of the City of Canton street department for 12 years and Carrollton Graphics.
Donald was formerly a member of the Mount Union College Boys Choir. He enjoyed coin collecting, riding motorcycles, going hunting, fishing, and trapping, working in his garden and canning, and had an interest in Indian Folklore and Artifacts. He loved spending time with his granddaughters.
Survivors include his daughter, Jody (Jeremy) Long; granddaughters, Theresa and Alyvia Long, all of Alliance; sister, Darlene (Donnie) Sample of Carrollton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Dennis; and sister, Deborah Santee.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday, March 22, 2010 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Robert Rally of the Believers Christian Fellowship Church in Salem officiating. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
