Donald Hawk Sr, age 85, of Diamond, passed away on Friday July 10, 2020 at his home with his family by his side.
He was born on December 23, 1934 in Arnold City, Pennsylvania to Paul and Ruth (Kerns) Hawk.
Donald worked as a commercial truck driver for Deerfield Farms. His dedication to his profession continued on with his collection of John Deere and different trucking company memorabilia.
Donald could be found on his land working his acreage or watching an old western movie. He was a Harley Davidson enthusiast, but above all else he was the happiest spending time with his family.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mary (Jeffries) Hawk, whom he married September 19, 1955; sons, Donald Hawk Jr. of Diamond, Richard (Debbie) Hawk of Salem, David Hawk of Diamond, and Paul Hawk of Diamond; daughter, Linda Wilson of Diamond; fifteen grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren; sisters, Deloris McKee of Georgia, Dorothy Nemoseck of Texas, Ruth Staderman of Pennsylvania; and one brother, Harry Hawk of Pennsylvania.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two brothers, Albert and Paul; two sisters Mildred and Betty; and son-in-law, Joe Wilson.
A private family service will be held at a later date.
