Donald M. Wike Sr

Donald M. Wike Sr., age 68, of Beloit, went home to be with the Lord on Thursday, May 4, 2017 at Cleveland Clinic.
He was born April 22, 1949 in Alliance, Ohio to W.B. "Woody" Wike Sr. and Gertrude Alice (McPherson) Wike.
A 1968 graduate of Alliance High School, Donald was the Director of Custodial Maintenance in Osceloa County Schools in Florida until he retired in 2010. He also formerly owned and operated Don's Lawn Care in Kissimmee, Florida.
Donald attended Alliance Baptist Temple and was an avid sports fan who loved the Cleveland Cavaliers, Cleveland Indians, and The Ohio State University Buckeyes. He enjoyed riding his Harley Davidson Motorcycle and spending time with his family and friends.
Survivors include his sons, Donald Wike Jr. of Alliance, Doug (Mary) Wike of Beloit and T.J. (Nikki) Wike of Minerva; six grandchildren; brothers, Butch (Kris) Wike of Inverness, Florida and Ronald (Hariett) Wike of Adairville, Kentucky; sister, Nona Marie (Richard) Ketler of Alliance; many nieces and nephews.
Donald was preceded in death by his parents and grandson, Matthew Ryan Wike.
A celebration of life service will be held at 3 p.m. Saturday, May 13, 2017 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Payne officiating. Friends may call 1-3 p.m. prior to the service at the funeral home.
Memorial contributions may be made to Alliance Community Hospital Foundation in care of Pulmonary Rehab at 200 E. State St. Alliance, Ohio 44601.
