Donna Jean (Derry) Lowers, age 72, of Sebring, passed away Thursday, December 11, 2014, at Altercare of Alliance.
She was born February 23, 1942, in Alliance to John and Violet (Ormiston) Derry.
Donna was employed as a nurse's aide at various care facilities.
Survivors include her long-time companion, Jim Lowers; daughter, Darla Benedict; son, Gary Lee Harris II; grandchildren, Joshua Ferguson, Liane (Derrick) Perkins, Nathan Benedict, Felicia (Jeremy) Burton, Angela (Damon) McKenney, Sarah Benedict; great-grandchildren, Eva Burton, Alexander Perkins, Samuel Perkins and Autumn Benedict; and siblings, Debbie (Rick) McLaughlin, Albert (Caroline) Derry, Allen Derry, Danny Derry, and Bonnie (John) Patterson of Salem.
Preceding her in death were her parents; brother, John Derry Jr and sister, Karen Call.
Services will be held at 3 p.m., Monday, December 15, 2014, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Jeff Caldwell of Maranatha Church of God officiating. Friends may call from 2 to 3 p.m., prior to the service.
