Donna M. Summers

Donna M. Summers, age 85, of Alliance, passed away at 11:56 p.m., April 25, 2016, at Mercy Medical Center.
She was born November 5, 1930, in Salem Ohio, Goshen Township, to Samuel and Gladys (Flitcraft) Blasiman.
Donna was employed and retired from the former Sancap Abrasives in Alliance for 42 years.
She liked to be around her family, especially her grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren, and loved her grandson Jason's cookouts.
Survivors include her daughter, Rosemary (Charles) Gibbons of Alliance; sons, Ty (Regina) Blasiman of Alliance and Harold (Anna) Summers of Hartville; five grandchildren, Tarya, Jason, Megan, Geoffry and Glenna; five great-grandchildren; five great-great-grandchildren; and sister, Lillian Doerschuk of North Canton.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Harold B. Summers, whom she married November 3, 1973 and who died in June 1992; and brother, Albert Blasiman.
A chapel service will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, May 2, 2016, at Highland Memorial Park.
