Donna Kay (Wright) King

Donna Kay (Wright) King, age 72, of Louisville, formerly of Alliance, passed away at 7:35 p.m., Saturday, December 14, 2019 at her home.

She was born October 17, 1947, in Ravenna, Ohio to Densel Keith Wright Jr. and Mary Jane (Neel) Wright Bingle.

A 1965 graduate of Alliance High School, Donna was employed by Huntington Bank in the Insurance Department until her retirement in December of 2014.

She was a member of Alliance Friends Church. She enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren and having time with her dogs, Zoey and Hollie. She also enjoyed shopping, crossword puzzles, working around the house, planting and enjoying her flowers, and making lists and enjoying her coffee with graham crackers every morning. But above all, Donna loved Jesus.

Survivors include her husband, Timothy W. King whom she married August 30, 2014; son, David N. (Tonya) Penturf of Alliance; two daughters, Danielle Penturf (Michael) Lamphier of Winston Salem, NC and Kelly M. (Matt) Takacs of Greensboro, NC; six grandsons, Nicholas, Jack, Connor, Griffin, Adam and Ryan; stepson, Anthony W. King of Canton; stepdaughter, Wendy K. (Thomas) Caserta of Alliance and step grandson, Corey; three step granddaughters, Makenzi, Celeste and Nina; and many beloved cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.

She was preceded in death by her parents; and her first husband, Ronald N.  Penturf.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 6:30 p.m., Friday, January 3, 2020 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Steve Rhodes officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.
