Doris Casey

Doris E. Casey, age 85, of N. Canton, formerly of Alliance, died at 8:35 a.m. Saturday, March 19, 2011, at St. Luke's in N. Canton.
She was born in Sebring, on August 18, 1925, to Gerald E. and Sara E. (Martin) McDaniel.
She was a graduate of Alliance High School. Doris was formerly employed by Clem Lumber as a Secretary for 25 years, retiring in 1988 and also by O'Neil's and the Market House.
Doris was a member of Regina Coeli Catholic Church for more than 44 years. She was also a member of the Altar and Rosary Society, and Catholic Women's Club. She enjoyed fishing, golf, sewing and crafts.
Survivors include two daughters, Sherry Leigh (Bruce) Irwin of N. Canton and Linda Sue (Dan) Wiley of Hickville, Ohio; siblings, Jack L. (Margaret) McDaniel of Grove City, Ohio, Sandra K. (William) Bandy of Cuyahoga Falls, Karen S. (Keith) Awalt of Louisville; five grandchildren, Scott Irwin and his Fianc?, Ediane Silva, Jennifer (Mark) Storey, Dan (Sarah) Wiley, Todd (Sue) Wiley, Robert Wiley and 4 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, William J. Casey; 2 brothers, Gerald E. McDaniel Jr. and Ronald E. McDaniel; infant daughter, Suzanne Lynn Casey and an infant son, William Joseph Casey Jr.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Regina Coeli Catholic Church 10:30 a.m. Thursday with Fr. Michael Seifert officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the church.
