Doris Elizabeth Kuntze

Doris Elizabeth Kuntze, age 100, of Alliance, died at 1:26 a.m. Sunday April, 24, 2016, at Crandall Medical Center.
She was born October 27, 1915, in Alliance, Ohio, to John C. and Hazel E. (Charlton) Kuntze.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Miss Kuntze attended Alliance Business College and was a graduate of Akron Co-Ed for Cosmetology.
Doris was employed at various beauty shops in Alliance, including the former Katherine's Beauty Shop and later worked at Heitsmans Motor Company in Alliance as a bookkeeper.
She was a former member of Vine St. United Methodist Church, former Choir Director, member of Otterbein Sunday School Class and Willing Workers; and attended Atwater Congregational Church.
Miss Kuntze is survived by her cousin by marriage, Margaret Charlton, and special friends, Susan Coy-Kamph, Susan Meissner, Pam Tasker, Darlene Sims and Bruce Smith.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Fern Kuntze; and cousin, David Charlton.
Services will be held at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 27, 2016, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Rich Hall of the Atwater Congregational Church officiating. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery.
Memorial Contributions may be made to the donor's choice of charity.
