“Together Again”

Doris Pauline (Rinard) Scott, age 89, passed away Thursday April 16th at Copeland Oaks Assisted Living.

She was born January 4, 1931 in Rinard Mills, Ohio to James and Gladys Rinard. She was a graduate of Bloomfield High School and was valedictorian of her class.

Doris was employed at Teledyne Monarch for 29 years.

She was an avid reader, sports fan, loved going to Mountaineer, playing lottery and euchre.

Another great love of her life was feeding (she was a wonderful cook) and taking care of her grandchildren; Kelly, John, Jimmie, Jaime, Jesse, Jeremiah, Jonathan and Ashley, her great grand-children; Patrick, Christopher, Trinity, Caiden, Cayla, Abigail, and Austin.

She is preceded in death by her husband John of 66 years and her siblings, Paul, Marjorie, Dorothy and Wayne and her son-in-law Wayne Beatty.

Doris is survived by her daughters Linda Beatty of Alliance, Susan & Paul Evans of Supply, NC, and Diana and John James of Beloit.

The Family would like to express their gratitude to the wonderful staff at Copeland Oaks and Aultman Alliance Hospice.

Also, we would like to remember Janice Graffice, her caring hairdresser and friend of 56 years (never a hair out of place).

A graveside service will be family only at 10:00 a.m., on Monday April 20, 2020 at Fairmount Memorial Park.
