Doris J. (Stryffeler) Cover Wagner

Doris J. (Stryffeler) Cover Wagner, age 89, of Alliance, passed away Monday, December 31, 2018, at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born March 27, 1929, in Paris, Ohio, to Howard and Olive (Benner) Stryffeler.
A graduate of Alliance High School, Doris worked for McCaskey Register and Ohio Drill & Tool.
She was a member of Middle Sandy Evangelical Presbyterian Church where she served as an Elder and was involved with the Women's Association. She also served as a past matron with the Homeworth Chapter of the Order of the Eastern Star.
A kindhearted, generous and loving soul, Doris was a hard worker, especially when tending to her garden. She loved to travel, visiting over 25 countries with her husband.
Survivors include her husband Robert, whom she married March 4, 1978; children, Robert (Debbie) Cover of Middletown, OH, Diane (Rodney) Cooper of Lakeside Marblehead, OH, and Jennifer (Thomas) McDonald of Alliance; step children, Alex Robert Wagner of England and Marc D. (Paula) Wagner of Johns Creek, GA; grandchildren, Sam (Yvonne) Cooper, Allyson Fites, Cory Fites and Kara (Matt) Miller; step grandchildren, Emma, Beatrix, Robert and John Wagner; great-grandchildren, Avery, Amaya, Kaiya, Keilana, Madison and Greyson; brother, Floyd (Ginnie) Stryffeler; and sister-in-law, Jane Stryffeler.
Doris was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Eugene Cover; sisters, Shirley McGeehan, Bernice Lyberger and Irene Dawson; brothers, Robert, Virgil, Norman, James and Louis Stryffeler.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, January 5, 2019 at Middle Sandy Evangelical Presbyterian Church with Pastor Tom Sawyer officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
