Dorothy L. Eason

Dorothy L. Eason, age 86, of Alliance, passed away July 2, 2015 at Alliance Community Hospital. She was born April 23, 1929, in Shelbyville, TN to Clarence and Lucille (Taylor) Pryor. Dorothy had been employed at Alliance Dry Cleaners and was a member of Feed My Sheep Ministries/New Beginnings House of God. She is survived by grandchildren, Rickey Jr., Malikah, Kinshasa, Lamonte, thirteen great-grandchildren; many great-great-grandchildren; sister, Maude C. Reaves; and many nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents; first husband, Oscar Moon; second husband, David Eason; son, Rickey Moon; and two sisters, Polly Young and Kathrine Blue and grandson, Shane Moon. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday, July 9, 2015 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Reverends Bobby and Joyce Williams officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery. In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be made to the Salvation Army 57 W. Main St. Alliance, OH 44601. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
