Dorothy "Shorty" Eberling

Dorothy "Shorty" Eberling age 81, of Alliance passed away at 11:12 a.m., Sunday, February 18, 2018, at Alliance Community Hospital.
She was born January 3, 1937, in Alliance, Ohio, to Ellis S. and Dorothy M. (Leasure) Eberling.
Dorothy was employed at GC Murphy, Universal Co-Op, Monarch Rubber and Genie of Alliance.
She loved cooking, gardening, home improvement and reading. Dorothy was a very generous woman.
Her survivors include her daughter, Vickey Eberling; brothers, John (Jean) Eberling and Robert (Margaret) Eberling, both of Alliance; sister, Shirley (Victor) Favazzo, of Alliance; and nieces and nephews, Lisa (Jay) Nervi of Alliance, Bobby Brunner of Minerva, Davie (Lonnie) Brunner of Louisville, Aaron and Taylor Nervi of North Carolina, Susie (Bruce) French of Columbus, Todd (Jodi) Smith of Alliance and Steve Eberling of Westville.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her aunt, Anna May Trussell.
Services will be held at 1 p.m., Monday, February 26, 2018, at Highland Memorial Park.
