Dorothy A. “Doo” Emmons, age 83, passed away on December 6, 2024.
She was born on February 16, 1941 in Alliance, to Lawrence and Lucille (Shoup) Mohr.
Dorothy enjoyed golfing and traveling. She loved to be outside and listening and singing to music. Dorothy was also known for her love of chocolate, especially M&M’s.
Those left to cherish her memory are her son, Cork Emmons (Joann Campbell); daughter, Debbie (Jeff) Frank; three step-grandchildren; five step-great-grandchildren; brother, Paul “Butch” (Connie) Mohr; sister, Carol “Sis” Strabala; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Glenwood Emmons; three brothers, Donald Mohr, Lawrence “Pete” Mohr, and Ronald Mohr; and brother-in-law, Lon Strabala.
A private family service was held at Fairmount Memorial Park.
