Dorothy F. Dickerhoof, age 85 of Paris, died at 4:45 p.m. Saturday April 29, 2006 at her home.
She was born June 27, 1920 in Hartville, Ohio to Lloyd and Irene (Wearstler) Anstine and was a lifelong area resident.
Mrs. Dickerhoof was a member of Salem United Methodist Church. She was a longtime employee of Lingenfelter-Brill. One of her greatest joys was cooking and sewing for her family, friends and neighbors.
Survivors include her husband Earl Dickerhoof whom she married January 1, 1938; sons Gene (Pat) Dickerhoof of Paris, Ohio and Glenn (Elaine) Dickerhoof of Alliance; daughter in law Norma Dickerhoof of Alliance; eight grandchildren; many great grandchildren; brothers Ralph
(Ethel) Anstine of Marlboro and Harold (Mabel) Anstine of Hartville; and sisters Eileen (Earl) Wilson of Hartville, Doris (Justin) Mason of California and Thelma
(Marion) Opphile of North Carolina.
She was preceded in death by her parents, son Dale Dickerhoof; sisters Leona and Mildred and brothers Sylvan, Myrl and Leroy.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Gary Miller officiating. Friends may call from 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Tuesday and one hour prior to the service. The family will be present from 7-9 p.m. Interment will follow at Highland Memorial Park.
