Dorothy Stober

August 25, 1910 — November 5, 2005

Dorothy M. Stober, age 95 of Canton, died at 9:15 a.m. Saturday, Nov. 5, 2005 at Roselawn Terrace.
She was born Aug. 25, 1910 in Canton, Ohio to B.R. and Anna Marie (Greenwald) Werner. Mrs. Stober graduated from McKinley High School in Canton, and attended Business College in Canton.
She was a Secretary for the former chairman of the Republican Party for Ted Dunlap and Louella Buker and retired from the Canton Board of Elections.
Mrs. Stober was a member of the Grace United Methodist Church in North Canton. She was active in the Republican Party in Canton, and was a former member and past president of the Ladies Elks Auxiliary in Canton.
Mrs. Stober enjoyed spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Barbara D. Graham of Alliance; four grandchildren Cynthia Griffin, Rick Graham, Kathleen Ohman, and Mary Cvelbar; ten great-grandchildren; and six great-great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband Richard C. Stober, whom she married Sept. 2, 1931, and who died in 1976, and one brother, Wilbur Werner.
Services will be held at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Rev. Donald J. Richards officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Northlawn Cemetery.
