Dorothy M. Taylor

Dorothy M. Taylor, age, 89, of Alliance, passed away peacefully on Saturday, August 13, 2016 at Canterbury Villa after a long illness.
She was born May 25, 1927 in Wooster, Ohio to Frank and Bessie (Mohr) Charlton.
Dorothy graduated from Alliance High School class of 1945. She married Ralph W. Taylor of Millersburg, Ohio on August 29, 1945.
Dorothy was a 50 year member of the Christ United Methodist Church in Alliance. She loved being a homemaker and cooking for family and friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Sherrie (Richard) Goddard of Sebring, grandchildren Stacy (Dave) Pitner, of Sebring, and David Isabella of Warren, sister, Phyllis Ciatu of Arizona, brother, Jim Charlton, of Louisville, sister-in-law, Martha Charlton, of Canton, very special friends, Walt Wachtel of Loudonville, Pat Elder of Alliance, and nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph W. Taylor, son, Gary Taylor, brother, Chester Charlton, and mother and father, Frank and Bessie Charlton.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Wednesday, August 17, 2016 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Stephanie Lee officiating. Friends may call from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m.
Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
