Dorothy J. (Ulrich) Romigh, age 88, of Marlboro Township, passed away at 11:55 p.m., Sunday, November 24, 2019 at her home with her family by her side.
She was born October 11, 1931, in Rootstown Township, Portage County, Ohio, to John and Helen (Kepler) Ulrich.
Dorothy was a Louisville High School graduate and formerly employed at Parkway Lanes as a short order cook.
She was a member of the Alliance Salem United Methodist Church and active with the choir and other functions at the church. Dorothy enjoyed her flower gardens, cooking and baking, camping, crafts and collecting tea pots. She also enjoyed reading the Bible and loved spending time with her family.
Survivors include sons, Keith (Carol) Romigh of Navarre, Florida and Kim (Kimberly) Romigh of Massillon, daughter, Karen (Herb) Smith of Alliance, son, Daniel (Sara) Romigh of Marlboro Township and daughter, Denise (Steve) Mayes of Marlboro; 15 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, Kenneth W. Romigh Jr., whom she married July 1, 1950 and who died October 21, 2012; and a brother, Robert Ulrich.
A Celebration of Life service will be held at Noon Saturday, November 30, 2019, at Alliance Salem United Methodist Church with Rev. Neil Orchard officiating. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service at the church.
