Dorothy M. (Rininger) Lawrentz

Dorothy M. Lawrentz, age 92, of Alliance, passed away at 9:15 a.m., Monday, February 17, 2020 at Altercare of Alliance.

She was born January 24, 1928, in Alliance to Vernon L. and Blanche (Reibolt) Rininger.

Dorothy was a member of the T.G. Club and enjoyed crocheting and sewing.

Survivors include her children, Regina (Denny) Falk of Aliquippa, Pa. and Duane Lawrentz of Alliance; brother, Gene Rininger and several nieces and nephews.

In addition to her parents, Dorothy was preceded in death by her husband, William “Wild Bill” Lawrentz, whom she married June 28, 1947 and who passed away June 20, 2005; granddaughter, Jessica Falk; and siblings, Don and Dale Rininger and Bernice Mensch.

A memorial service will be held at a later date.  Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the charity of the donors’ choice.
