Dorsey Fink

Dorsey D. Fink, age 92, of Alliance, died at 7:35 a.m. June 8, 2007 at Roselawn Terrace.
Mrs. Fink was born May 15, 1915 in Hiawassee, Georgia, to Doll and Myrtle (Eller) Denton. She attended Hiawassee High School, moved to Ohio around 1950, lived in Canton and has lived in Alliance for 17 years.
Mrs. Fink was a member of First Baptist Church in Alliance, member of the Jolly 60's of the Canton Baptist Temple, former member of the Senior Citizens Center and the Alliance Senior Chorale. She retired in 1973 from the W.T. Grant Co., in Canton.
Survivors include her children, Woodrow (Barbara) Worley, Jr. of Ellijay, Ga., Kenneth (Gayle) Worley of Louisville, James Worley and Jane Worley Thomas both of Alliance; 6 grandchildren, 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews; sisters, Gladys Denton Hooper of Tuckaseegee NC, Edith Denton Chambers and Ethel Denton Everett, both of Blairsville, Ga, Opal Denton Buchanan of Pisgah Forest, NC.; and brother George W. Denton of N. Charleston, S.C.
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husbands, Woodrow Worley, whom she married November, 1935, and Joseph J. Fink whom she married September 1972; sister Grace Denton Nicholson of Canton and brother J. Earl Denton of Hendersonville N.C.
A Memorial Service will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday June 12, 2007, at First Baptist Church in Alliance. Friends may call from 7-9 p.m. Monday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Lower High Tower Church Cemetery in Hiawassee, Ga.
