Douglas B. Shreve

Douglas B. Shreve, age 70, passed away peacefully on August 23 2024.  He was born on October 30, 1953, in Canton, OH to Frank and Donna (Day) Shreve.   

Doug was a graduate of Alliance High School and the Culinary Institute of America in Hyde Park, NY. He went on to be a Chef at Au Pere Jacques  in Chagrin Falls, OH and the University of Mount Union.

Doug loved technology and computers, enjoyed capturing moments through photography, and found joy in cooking and gardening. He will be remembered as a loving son, brother, uncle, great uncle and friend.

Douglas is survived by his brother, Gregory (Terri) Shreve; sisters, Constance Teeters and Cynthia (David) Matak, and several nieces and nephews. He is preceded death by his parents, Frank and Donna (Day) Shreve, and a brother-in-law, David Teeters.

A visitation will be held at Salem Bible Church on Saturday August 31, 2024, from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM, followed by a Celebration of Life service beginning at 11:00 AM with Pastor Doug DeMar to officiate.
