Douglas T. Greene

Douglas T. Greene, age 87 of Alliance, died at 5:04 a.m. October 23, 2005 at Manor Care Health Services, of Barberton.
Doug was born April 28, 1918 in Youngstown, Ohio to Robert and Audrey (Taylor) Greene.
He was the owner of Greene Furnace Company and retired as a Sheet Metal Worker. Doug was one of Jehovah's Witness' for over 57 years.
Survivors include a son, Gerald (Gloria) Greene of North Benton, OH; three daughters, Judith (Chuck) Snyder of Florida, Virginia Gantz of Florida and Susan G. Greene of North Canton, OH; a son, Robert (Susan Lynn) Greene of Akron, OH; a brother, Herschel (Irene) Greene of Amsterdam, OH and numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren. As well as many nieces, nephews, friends and his beloved cat, Simon.
He was preceded in death by his parents; wife Helen, son Richard and sister Arlene Kloppel.
Services will be held at 1 p.m. Saturday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Mr. Michael Nelson officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service on Saturday. Entombment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
