Douglas Lee Wareham, age 51, of Alliance, entered the Gates of Heaven at 12:35 a.m., Tuesday, March 26, 2013, at Alliance Community Hospital.
He has joined his father, Robert LeMoine Wareham; maternal grandparents, Wilson and Leota Richards; and paternal grandparents, Raymond and Cleo Wareham.
Doug was born December 21, 1961, in Canton, Ohio to Robert L. and Vera L. (Richards) Wareham.
He was a 1980 graduate of Marlington High School. Doug joined the United States Army on December 12, 1983 and was honorably discharged on November 18, 1987.
He was a member of the Marlboro Christian Church.
Doug is loved by many. His immediate family includes; his mother, Vera Louise Richards Wareham of Alliance; brother, Daniel Lee (Lora) Wareham and their son, Robert of Florida; brother, Dana LeMoine Wareham of Alliance and his daughter, Brittany of Carrollton; sister, Denise Louise (Andrew) Patterson of Carrollton and her son, D.J. Edwards of Canton and sister, Diane Eleanor Wellman of Massillon. Doug is also survived by many aunts, uncles and cousins.
He had many friends from biker groups who were very close to him and still are.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Tuesday, April 2, 2013, at Marlboro Christian Church with Pastor Eric Crites officiating. Friends may call from 6 to 8 p.m. Monday, April 1, 2013, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Interment will be at Marlboro Cemetery.
Memorial contributions may be made to Doug's family to be used for their discretion.
