Drew Mayle

Drewford “Drew” Mayle, age 80, of Hartville, passed away on May 22, 2021.

He was born on September 2, 1940 in Grafton, WV to Richard Cecil Mayle and Elizabeth Parson Mayle.

Drew graduated from Grafton High School in West Virginia. He worked as a press operator for Chrysler Corporation for 42 years until his retirement. Drew enjoyed gardening and working in his yard. He was a member of Crystal Park Westeyan Church. Drew served honorably in the United States Army. He was kind hearted and had a generous spirit.

Those left to cherish his memory are his wife, Faith (Balderson) Mayle, whom he married on June 15, 1968; his sons, Bradley V. Mayle and Shawn E. Mayle;  his grandson, Landon Mayle; and siblings, Dayton, Duane, Dexter, Diane and Delmas.

He was preceded in death by his parents and his brother, Darrell.

A visitation will be held at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home on Thursday, May 27th from 7-9 p.m. A funeral service will be Friday the 28th at 12:00 p.m. at the funeral home with a visitation one hour prior. Interment will be at Alliance City Cemetery with military honors.
