Dwight F. Hepburn, age 87 of Alliance, passed away Friday, March 30, 2007 at his home.
He was born February 23, 1920 in Morewood, Ontario Canada, to William and Grace (Dowsett) Hepburn and lived in the Alliance vicinity for 60 years.
Mr. Hepburn graduated from Morewood High School and attended McMasters University in Hamilton Ontario. He was employed by the British Purchasing Commission which brought him to the states; he then worked for Timken Roller Bearing where he met his wife. He then moved to Alliance to be Director of Purchasing for Alliance Machine Co., before retiring as Sales Engineer for Robertson Electric. Dwight was a member of the Conrad Masonic Lodge and 32 degree Mason, member of Alliance Elks & Tadmor Temple
He is survived by his daughters; Holly L. (Jeff) Dixon of Alliance, Kathy A. (John) Hoover of Alliance grandson Michael (Shannon) White of Alliance, granddaughter; Nicole (Steve) Kray of Kingsville, Ohio, 3 great-grandsons; Jordon White, Cayden White and Logan Kray of Alliance; and brother; Keith T. (Gail) Hepburn of Ottawa, Ontario Canada.
Dwight was preceded in death by his parents, wife, Dorothy whom he married Oct. 31, 1946 and who died Jan. 4, 2005 and brother Roy.
