E. Wade "Chief" Eddy Jr, age 64, of Alliance passed away at 7:52 p.m., Sunday, January 25, 2015, at Aultman Hospital.
He was born May 5, 1950, in Alliance, Ohio, to Elijah and Mildred (Hood) Eddy.
Wade was employed as a welder and forklift operator for the Filnor Company.
He was a member of Alliance Nazarene Church, member of NRA and a supporter of the DVA.
Survivors include his wife, Linda (Hawley) Eddy of Alliance whom he married August 14, 1987; children, Regina (Ty) Blasiman, Shawn (Casey) Eddy, Shelly (Michael) Demetro, Renee Noling, Mark (Lisa) Voshel, Matthew (Bessie) Voshel and Dennis (Jamie) Voshel; siblings, Doris Schell of Sebring, Oneida (John) Domian of Alliance, Letitia (Dan) Dague of Sebring, and Wayne Eddy, Ray Eddy, Barb Edwards, all of Alliance; twenty grandchildren and one great-grandchild.
He was preceded in death by his parents and a brother-in-law, Duane "Buck" Edwards.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, January 30, 2015, at Cassaday Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Glen Davidson officiating. Friends may call from 5 to 7 p.m., Thursday, January 29. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
Memorial contributions may be made to any animal rescue of the donor's choice.
