Earl A. Taylor

Earl A. Taylor, age 94, of Alliance, died at 2:55 p.m. Thursday, March 14, 2013, at Roselawn Gardens.
He was born October 29, 1918, in Canton, Ohio, to Arthur and Mary (Hogal) Taylor.
Earl was a graduate of Fairmount Home School and retired from Alliance Public Schools.
He was a member of the Alliance Free Will Baptist Church and enjoyed woodworking and running his lawnmower repair shop.
Survivors include his wife, Donna (Beck) Taylor whom he married November 4, 1989; a stepdaughter, Donna Heath of Southfield, MI; stepson, Clarence Nelson of Mechanicstown, OH; five step-grandchildren and nine step-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; former wife, Helen Taylor; daughters, Doris Palmer and Mary Higgins; son, Paul Sole and a sister, Lucile Taylor.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday March 18, 2013 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Jimmy Holbrook of the Alliance Free Will Baptist Church officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Sunday March 17, 2013. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
