Edna R. Wolfe age 95 of Alliance died at 1 a.m. Friday June 13, 2003 at Oakhill Manor Nursing Center.
She was born May 7, 1908 in Greenfield to Homer and Bessie (Harrington) Keefer. Mrs. Wolfe taught home economics for three years in Troy, Ohio.
A member of Christ United Methodist Church, Mrs. Wolfe was also a member of P.E.O., Qui Vive, Alliance Community Hospital Auxiliary, Past President of the Stark County Dental Association Auxiliary, and member of the Alliance Woman's Club.
Edna Wolfe spent a lifetime committed to community service, and was an accomplished storyteller. She will be greatly missed by this community and her loved ones.
Mrs. Wolfe is survived by two sons, Larry Wolfe of Cleveland, Ohio and Jackson Wolfe of Boulder, Colorado; two grandsons, Damian Wolfe and Joda Wolfe, of San Diego, California, and one sister Sara Cook of Venice, Florida
She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Dr. Clayton C. Wolfe, whom she married July 17, 1934, and who died March 31, 2003, and one nephew.
Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
