Edna B. (Donohoe) Donohoe

Edna B. Donohoe, age 83, of Alliance, passed away at 3 p.m. May 4, 2019 at Canterbury Villa.

She was born September 29, 1935 in Alliance, Ohio to Samuel and Garnet (May) Donohoe.

Edna attended Alliance High School, retired after 30 years of service at Genie Company before working as a Home Health Aid for Caring Hands from 1995 – 2008.

She enjoyed visiting the sick and elderly, gardening, reading, word puzzles, and loved being with her grandchildren.

Survivors include her children, Samuel L. (Renee) Benning, Richard (Teresa) Benning, Jack (Andrea) Benning, Glenna Benning, and Tina (Brian) Wimer; eight grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; many step grandchildren and great-grandchildren; and sister, Rose Peters.

She was preceded in death by her parents; an infant son, three brothers and six sisters.

A Memorial Service will be held at 1:30 p.m. Thursday, May 9, 2019 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home. Friends may call one hour prior to the service.

Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park.
