Edward Allen Davis

Edward “Eddie” Allen Davis, 83, went home to be with the Lord on April 6th, 2023, peacefully at home with his wife, Carol, and two sons, Shawn and Brian, at his side.

Ed was born and raised in Alliance, Ohio, and is known for his 60 plus years’ work at Hillcrest Market as their meat butcher.  Ed served six years in the Army Reserve.  During his time outside of work Ed most enjoyed being a part of his grandchildren’s activities, spending time with his extended baseball family, watching sports on tv, and taking enormous pride in his green, green grass.

Ed is survived by his loving wife Carol; four sons, Shawn (Melanie) Davis of Louisville, Scott (Marcy) Davis of Alliance, John (Kevin)  Zamora of Salem, and Brian (Samantha) Calladine of Alliance;  grandchildren, including Carson, Caden, Morgan, Madeline, Bo, Leah, and Emily;  nieces, Lisa, Chris, Sherry, Lori; nephew, Joey; and his sister Carol (Jim) Bales.

Ed was preceded in death by his mother, Mildred and father, Ernest Davis.

No services will be held per Ed’s request.
