Edward "Dutch" Lucas

Edward "Dutch" Lucas, age 99, of Alliance, passed away on Tuesday, March 27, 2018.
He was born November 23, 1918, in Alliance, Ohio, to John and Regina Lucas.
Dutch was employed at Transue & Williams for more than 30 years as a Press Operator.
He was a veteran of the United States Army from 1941 to 1945 having served during World War II. He was a member of the VFW, Saxon Club and the American Legion. He was also an avid golfer, enjoyed playing cards and fishing.
Survivors include his daughters, Carol King of Alliance and Joyce Ramsey-Cross of Boardman; granddaughter, Stacey Ramsey; and great-grandson Edward Ricci.
In addition to his parents, Dutch was preceded in death by his wife, Esther Lucas who died October 6, 1987; two sisters; three brothers; and grandson, James Ricci.
A special thanks is extended to Alliance Hospice for their excellent care of Dutch.
No services will be held.
