Edward L. Martin, Jr

Edward L. Martin, Jr., age 64, of Canton, died July 27, 2008, at 12:45 p.m. at Northside Medical Center in Youngstown, Ohio. Edward was born October 2, 1943, in Youngstown, Ohio, to Edward L. Sr. and Hazel (Guy) Martin. He was an East High School graduate and a communicator at InfoCision in Green, Ohio. Edward attended First Friends Church and was a former member of Youngstown Kiwanis. He enjoyed gardening, traveling and was an avid Cleveland Browns fan. Edward loved spending time with his granddaughters. He is survived by a daughter, Jennifer (Don) Carroll of Canton; and two granddaughters, Kathleen and Christina Carroll. He was preceded in death by his parents. Services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Randy Heckert officiating. Friends may call from 6:30-8:30 p.m. Thursday. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park. Arrangements are by Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home.
