Edward "Eddie" Wilson, age 49, of Alliance, passed away at 9:25 a.m., Friday, March 28, 2014, at Roselawn Gardens.
He was born March 21, 1965, in Alliance, Ohio, to James Wilson and Donna (Matticks) Wilson Lare.
A graduate of Boardman High School, Eddie was a member of Well Spring Bible Church.
Eddie was a very thoughtful and giving person who always loved to make people laugh. He was always ready with a story or joke to lighten the moment. Eddie enjoyed spending time with his dad fishing on Lake Erie and watching professional wrestling. Eddie loved his family and he will be greatly missed until we all meet again.
Survivors include his longtime girlfriend, Tonia McDonald of Alliance; mother, Donna Lare of Fredericksburg, VA; sister, Kimberly (Robert) Sales of King George, VA; brother, Jason (Kristen) Lare, of Parma, OH; step-sisters, Sue (Patrick) Lare-Myers, of Alliance, and Lisa (Ronald) Bartlett of Atwater; uncle, Jimmy (Kathy) Favazzo of Alliance; aunt, Bonnie (Ernie) Conant of Atwater; several nieces; one nephew; many great-nieces; great-nephews; and step-grandfather, John Lanham of Atwater.
He was preceded in death by his father, James Wilson; step-father, Bill Lare; paternal grandparents, James and Olive Wilson; maternal grandparents, Marie Lanham and James Favazzo; and maternal grandfather, Donald Matticks.
Memorial Services will be held at 2 p.m. Saturday, April 5, 2014, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Robert Sales officiating. Family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.
