Eleanor A. Mather

Eleanor A. (Domino) Mather, age 93, of Alliance, passed away at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 26, 2016, at Community Care Center.
She was born August 21, 1923, in Alliance, Ohio, to John and Elsie (Kesterke) Domino and has lived in Alliance all of her life.
Eleanor graduated from Alliance High School in the class of 1941 and was a member of the Science Hill Community Church for more than 50 years. She enjoyed sewing, crocheting and gardening.
Survivors include her daughters, Karen (Tim) Fontaine of Alliance and Janet Van De Veire of Indiana; son, Kevin Mather of North Carolina; five grandchildren; five great grand-children and many nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Albert E. Mather whom she married June 20, 1944; daughter, Joanne Phillipi; and brothers, Norman Domino and Lewis Domino.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Tuesday, November 1, 2016, at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor Jonathan Truax officiating. Friends may call one hour prior to the service. Interment will be at Fairmount Memorial Park.
