Eleanore B. Lautzenheiser Cox

Eleanore B. Lautzenheiser Cox, age 94, of Sebring, died at 1:45 a.m., Sunday, October 17, 2010 at Crandall Medical Center.
She was born March 30, 1916 in Alliance, Ohio to Clyde and Ila (McLean) Devers.
Eleanore attended Alliance High School. She was employed by Mt. Union College and Copeland Oaks. She enjoyed crafting, (latchhook and beadwork), her flower gardens, getting together with friends and attending the Christian Women's Club.
She was a member of the Damascus Friends Church.
Survivors include her sons, Floyd (Patty) Lautzenheiser of Homeworth; Robert Lautzenheiser of Lisbon, and Walter (Donna) Lautzenheiser of Damascus; her daughter, Darlyne (Clint) Whaley of Columbiana; 18 grandchildren and 25 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husbands, Russell Lautzenheiser, who died September 4, 1974; and Albert Cox, who died August 23, 1995; daughter, Marilyn; three sons, Daniel, Glen and Dean; brother, Raymond; sister, Dorothy Scott; and one grandson, Robert Lautzenheiser.
Services will be held at 11 a.m., Wednesday, October 20, 2010 at Cassaday-Turkle-Christian Funeral Home with Pastor John Ryser of Damascus Friends Church officiating. Friends may call from 6-8 p.m. Tuesday, October 19, 2010. Interment will be at Highland Memorial Park
